Rathaus is a unique, vibrant and artistic cultural centre in Piacenza. It’s a wonderful place to find stimulating events, meet interesting people and hang out with your friends.
It is run by three amazing and talented women and I worked with them to help promote their business.
I filmed and edited videos to showcase their place and their events on social media. The goal was to convey the viewers the feeling of RatHaus being both a welcoming and stimulating place in which you can express yourself and be culturally influenced by all forms of art.
Before shooting, we had multiple meetings and brainstorming sessions so that I could understand their business from the inside. That was a great opportunity to get to know RatHaus’ owners better and what they wanted to communicate through the videos I had in mind.
I filmed a general longer video about their dynamic place and the people who go there. I interviewed Annalisa, Katerina and Alice to find the core essence of their place and business.
I then worked on shorter videos to promote their events. Thanks to our numerous meetings we defined the storytelling behind each event and I then filmed and edited the videos based on that.
Showing a place trough videos has an enormous value. It immediately engages with people arousing their curiosity for peculiar events such the ones you can find at RatHaus.
